New Zealand striker Jeremy Brockie is just four goals away from equalling Abram Raselemane’s scoring record for SuperSport United.
Brockie was on target for United in their 3-1 win over Club Africain in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday night.
The 30-year-old’s goal was his 10th in the continental competition this year (he’s comfortably the leading scorer) and his 53rd in Matsatsantsa colours since signing with the club in January 2015.
SuperSport’s all-time scoring record stands at 57 goals and is held by the late Raselemane, who played for the club from 2001 to 2006.
Brockie will look to continue closing in on the club record when United face Bloemfontein Celtic in the first round of the Telkom Knockout this weekend.
