Executive manager, Shereen Shams has revealed that the Egyptian authority has only allowed 50 000 fans to attend the continental premier tournament's final.
The Red Devils booked a spot in the final after knocking out Tunisia’s Étoile du Sahel 7-4 on aggregate.
“We have asked to increase the fans to 70,000 but the security has only agreed to 50,000. The club totally respect and understand the authority’s decision, although we hoped there would be an increase in the numbers,” Shams said.
“The match tickets will be sent to the club’s headquarters within hours and the fans will be able to reserve their tickets through the club’s website.”
Coach Hossam El-Badry's side will want to bag their ninth continental crown, but they will have to beat Casablanca, who managed to lift the title only once in 1992 against Sudan’s Al-Hilal Club.
