Africa's best player, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, will play no part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The continent's outstanding player, who has scored 15 goals in 14 appearances for Borussia Dortmund across all competitions this season, failed in his attempt to lead Gabon to a first ever world showpiece.
