Asante Kotoko lifted the Ghana FA Cup yesterday after they defeated arch rivals Hearts of Oak 3-1 in the final in Tamale.
Saddick Adams scored a first-half hat-trick to take the Porcupines to victory, while Hearts skipper Thomas Abbey netted his side’s consolation goal.
It was Kotoko’s ninth FA Cup triumph in their club history and will see them play in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
"My players motivated themselves and knew the task ahead, it was a great performance in general," said coach Steve Pollack in the wake of the victory.
