After continuously making headlines in the Chinese Super League for Changchun Yatai, Nigerian national team coach Gernot Rohr has finally invited Odion Ighalo to join his squad.
Just last week, the former Watford forward netted his 15th league goal and walked away with the Man of the Match Award.
Finally, the German coach has bowed down to public pressure to see the quality of the 28-year-old and invited the Super Eagles international into his camp.
Nigeria will face the Desert Warriors of Algeria in their final Group B match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers next month.

Although they have reached the global tournament in Russia, the West Africans have also secured an international firendly against Argentina.
Rohr will lead his troops on November 10 against the Algerians and meet the Albiceleste in Russia in a highly anticipted friendly four days later.
Meanwhile, Ighalo will have to utilise the opportunity and make his mark in an aim to book a place in the final squad en route to the World Cup.
He will have to bring a different dimension upfront and convince Rohr that with his experience and eye for goal, he deserves to lead the Super Eagles attack.
