Anderlecht’s Nigerian striker Henry Onyekuru is looking for an early return to Everton, according to former teammate Mamdou Sylla.
The Super Eagles player transferred from Eupen to Everton at the start of the current season, only to be sent on loan to Anderlecht.
Thus far Onyekuru has scored six six goals in nine Jupiler League games, after netting 22 last term with Eupen.
Former Eupen teammate Sylla says the Nigerian’s sights are set on a return to Goodison Park as soon as possible.
He told DH: “Henry has many qualities, which he has already shown in his first campaign in the first division.
“At Anderlecht, his playing time and his ability to adapt to the their games do not surprise me.
“A club and a level where he will still be able to progress, with the goal he has in mind is to join Everton quickly to discover the Premier League."
Onyekuru will hope to feature for Anderlecht in their UEFA Champions League match away to Paris Saint-Germain this evening.
