Egypt national team coach Hector Cuper has called up former Zamalek player, Mahmoud Abdel-Razik, otherwise known as ‘Shikabala’, for the clash against Ghana next month.
The Pharaohs are set to face the Black Stars in their final 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Ghana as confirmed by the Egyptian Football Association on Tuesday.
Cuper named a 16-man squad of foreign-based players before including Shikabala to the squad on Tuesday.

This marks Shikabala’s first call up since 2014 as the 31-year-old winger has been producing fine performances since his summer move to Saudi Arabian outfits Al-Raed.
He has scored four goals and provided two assists in six appearances.
He will join the Pharaohs camp on November 6.
Egypt are already confirmed as Group E winners after their 2-1 victory over Congo earlier this month to seal their first qualification for the World Cup in 26 years.
