The UEFA Champions League will witness some of Africa’s most talented players take the stage in eight Matchday 4 fixtures set to play out this evening.

In Group F, Kalidou Koulibaly and Faouzi Ghoulam will look to stymie Manchester City’s attack when the Premier League leaders take on their Serie A counterparts at the Stadio San Paolo, while Mohamed Salah is set to be a central figure for Liverpool when they host whipping boys Maribor in Group E.

The Group G clash between Porto and RB Leipzig will seem of Africa’s most in-form players take to the field: the home side are set to feature Algerian playmaker Yacine Brahimi and Cameroon striker Vincent Aboubakar, while the German visitors have midfield dynamo Naby Keita.

In the same pool, the early evening clash will see Keita Balde looking to inspire Monaco to a much-needed away win over log leaders Besiktas in Istanbul.

Group H could feature a fascinating battle between African fullbacks Serge Aurier and Achraf Hakimi, as their respective teams, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid, both look to bounce back from weekend league defeats in a high-profile clash at Wembley.

Finally, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s Borussia Dortmund target their first win in the group when they host Cypriot side APOEL at the Westfalenstadion.
