Red Star Belgrade’s Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye says he is ready to play for Chelsea.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League champions and hopes to impress when Red Star play in London against Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.
"I will go back to the Emirates if I deserve it, I would like to face (Petr) Cech again, because when you face such a goalkeeper, it has more weight, you remember it more and celebrate it more!" explained Boakye.
"I am playing well with Red Star, we'll see who will contact me. If I'm going to play Chelsea, then I'll go. I'm having fun and I'm playing at my best."
Boakye recently became the highest-scoring foreign player in Red Star’s club history and has established a reputation as a prolific forward in Serbia.
Chelsea coach Antonio Conte knows Boakye well, having managed the player when he was on the books of Juventus from 2012 to 2014.
