After urging their fans to come out in numbers to support the team during a training session on Tuesday, Al Ahly was forced to cancel the session due a high number of fans in attendance.

Media reports from the North African country indicate that hordes of Red Devils fans swarmed their Cairo training base and forced the session to be cancelled.

Coach Hossam El-Badry is preparing his troops for a crucial second leg CAF Champions League final clash against Wydad Casablanca on Saturday in Morocco.

The session was abandoned due to a remarkable number of supporters who crammed in to watch the Egyptian club.

KingFut website reports that a decision was made after thousands of fans entered El Tetsh Stadium which saw the supporters fill the stands and flood the field itself.

Consequently, it was deemed not safe for the players.

The Egyptian giants drew the first leg 1-1 in Alexandria last Saturday after Mo’men Zakaria scored the first goal in the second minute.
