Botswana head coach Major David Bright says he is concerned by Mogakolodi Ngele's situation at South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Botswana international returned to the reigning African champions following a successful loan spell at Bidvest Wits where he scored six goals in 22 competitive games.
However, Ngele has since been demoted to play in the South African reserve league, Multichoice Diski Challenge (MDC) at Sundowns.
The Botswana Football Association (BFA) approached Sundowns about the player's situation at the club, but Bright has revealed that the consultation has not yielded the expected results.
“Yes, we did engage them especially reserve coach Notoane (David) but in conclusion it was clear that he will stay with the reserve team until maybe next year,” Bright told
Weekendsport.
The Chloorkop-based giants are busy processing the former Township Rollers and Platinum Stars attacker's South African citizenship.
“Yeah, they are working on localizing him and it’s not an overnight thing it will take time hence Tsotso will be stuck in that league," he added.
"What is important nonetheless is the fact that he is keeping fit and we will continue to call him to the national team camps.”
Ngele has been linked with South African sides Stars, Orlando Pirates as well as SuperSport United ahead of the January, 2018 Transfer Window.
