Algeria attacker Sofiane Feghouli

Algerian midfielder Sofiane Feghouli says he did not deserve to be red carded in Galatasaray’s 2-1 loss at Trabzonspor last weekend.
The Fennec Foxes player received a red card late in the first half for what referee Halis Ozkahya deemed to be violent conduct.
However, Feghouli insists he was just intervening to defend a teammate and his so-called ‘offence’ should not have even merited a yellow card.
"I saw my teammate lying on the floor, receiving shots from an opposing player, without the referee intervening. That's what pushed me to intervene,” Feghouli told the Turkish press, as quoted by Le Buteur.
“You can review the action to find out what I did not do, "said the Algerian, before adding:" I think the referee's decision to expel me was too harsh.
“I may not even deserve a yellow card. I hope that the Turkish football federation reviews the action before making its decisions.”
Feghouli is set to miss Galatasaray’s next three domestic matches, including their clash against Genclerbirligi on Friday evening.
