Al Ahly and Egyptian international striker, Emad Meteb's agent has revealed that his client might leave the Red Devils sooner rather than later.
The agent, Nader Shawky, says Meteb might leave the club as he aims to get more game time to increase his chances of joining the national team in the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Recently, the veteran striker had thrown away his training bib in a show of disagreement with his coach’s substitution decision during Ahly’s league win over Al Ittihad.
However, the 34-year-old later told BBC Sport that his relationship with El-Badry is okay, yet his agent says the Pharaohs international will leave.

Shawky spoke about Meteb’s situation after former Zamalek winger ‘Shikabala’ has been called up to the Egypt squad ahead of the Ghana clash.
“Meteb wants to play in the World Cup which can only happen if he plays more matches. Shikabala (Mahmoud Abdel-Razik) is no better than him,” Shawky said.
“This could lead to his departure from Al Ahly in January if he does not take part in more matches with the team.”
Shawky said Meteb wants to play for a manager that believes in his capabilities and in a club where he plays regularly so he can be called up by Hector Cuper to join the national team.
