Tammy Abraham is set to make his debut for England this month, despite previous claims by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick that the forward will play for the Super Eagles at international level.

The lanky forward, who was born in England, qualifies to play for Nigeria at international level through his parents and there were hopes that he would choose to represent the West African nation at next year's World Cup in Russia.

The chances of that happening, though, seem to be over with Abraham now in line to make his debut for the Three Lions against either Brazil or Germany.

Abraham, 19, has scored five goals in 13 games for Swansea City across all competitions this season. He is currently on loan at the club from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
