Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed that Mogakolodi Ngele has received his South African work permit.

The Botswana international, who has been waiting for the South African Home Affairs Department to process his application, is yet to feature for the Brazilians this season.

Ngele, 27, is likely to make an appearance for Sundowns when they face Bidvest Wits in an Absa Premiership match after the current FIFA international break.

The break is expected to allow the club’s injured players to work their way back into full fitness.

“I think that (Yannick) Zakri will be back,” Mosimane told Sundowns' official website.

“(Cuthbert) Malajila has gone under the knife, I don’t think that we should look at him. Mogakolodi Ngele got his work permit. Hopefully he will also come.

The Brazilians thrashed Orlando Pirates 3-1 in a league match which was played at the Orlando Stadium last week Wednesday.

"When I see a free-kick like the one Marc van Heerden scored, I know that I have someone (Ngele) who can deliver those balls," the 53-year-old continued.

"Rivaldo Coetzee has taken off the moon boot. Ricardo Nascimento is also coming back in January.

"Those are very good defenders. We haven’t been playing well from the back."

Wits are scheduled to host Sundowns at the Bidvest Stadium on Tuesday, 21 November 2017.
