The 25-year-old forward has been hailed as one of the best signings in the English Premier League (EPL) by Liverpool FC icon Robbie Fowler.
Liverpool signed Salah from Italian giants AS Roma on a long-term contract for an initial €42m fee that could rise to up to €50m.
The fee was a club record, eclipsing the £35m spent on English striker Andy Carroll in 2011. Salah has since hit the ground running at Liverpool.
The Egyptian international has impressively netted 12 goals in 17 games across all competitions since joining the EPL giants.
Legendary English striker Fowler, who is Liverpool's all-time top scorer with 346 goals, praised Salah's qualities and goalscoring form.
“I think certainly at the start of the year there was plenty of goals in them, a few missed chances," Fowler told ESPN.
"All the pressure was put on the defenders then because they were conceding goals,”
“But now they’re scoring goals and everything is taken away from the defense, I think we are quite happy the way we’re going, three good wins," the 42-year-old continued.
“Certainly the signing of Mo Salah has probably been one of the signings of the Premier League so far.
"With the pace he has got he will have chances all day and he needs to keep up the good form because he is important for Liverpool,” he concluded.
