Borussia Dortmund have dropped Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from their squad for this weekend's game against Stuttgart in the German Bundesliga, the club confirmed.
The 28-year-old axed from the traveling party due to "disciplinary reasons."
Aubameyang has scored 15 goals in 17 appearances across all competitions this season - 10 of this coming in the league - but he will play no part in this weekend's encounter due to a breach of discipline.
DORTMUND'S AUBAMEYANG PROMISES TO RECOVER HIS SCORING FORM
The Gabon international was suspended by the club last November, having embarked on a trip to Milan against club orders. The exact reason for his axing this time around is not yet clear.
The news will come as a double blow for Aubameyang who was eager to end his scoring drought having failed to find the back of the net in five consecutive matches.
Dortmund failed to win any of said matches as they now try to bring an end to a slump in form. The Black and Yellows started the season like a house on fire, but have since dropped to third place on the log standings.
