Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Sadio Mane will undergo a late fitness test to see if he will be able to take the field against Southampton on Saturday.
The Reds welcome the Saints to Anfield in an English Premier League encounter this weekend, with Mane eager to face his former employers.
The 25-year-old, though, is a doubt for the clash despite partaking in training following a re-occurrence of a hamstring injury - picked up while on national duty with Senegal.
Mane was duly sent home early from national duty with the Teranga Lions, who booked their place at a first FIFA World Cup in 16 years.

"Sadio, we have to wait. We will see [if he can face Southampton]," Klopp is quoted as saying at the pre-match press conference.
Mane has already missed five matches due to a hamstring issue this season.
