Manchester City are reportedly battling it out against Arsenal for the signature of Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez.
The Algerian has been a subject of speculation in recent times, with more clubs linked with the left-footed winger.
Media reports in Spain suggest that City manager, Pep Guardiola is reportedly an admirer of the tricky midfielder and is hopeful of adding more attacking talent to his squad.
Meanwhile, Mahrez has also been linked with moves to the Gunners and Chelsea, but insists he is 'settled' at King Power Stadium, despite an attempt to leave in the last transfer window.
To add fuel to the speculation, Guardiola was spotted chatting with the Desert Foxes international at the end of the Blues' 2-0 victory over Leicester last weekend.
"Everyone knows that I had desires to leave, except that it did not happen. I do not want to think of the transfer window at the moment. We still have 12 games to play until January, so if I thought of the transfer window now, I will not play football anymore,” Mahrez recently told the Daily Star.
With his future remaining unclear, will Mahrez be tempted to join the title changing City and possibly add to his EPL gold medal?
