Orlando Pirates administrative manager Floyd Mbele is unaware of media reports stating that Lyle Foster underwent trials at AS Monaco.

On Thursday, reports coming of South Africa stated that the Bucs striker went for a two-week assessment at the French Ligue 1 giants.

However, Bucs club official Mbele insisted that he was not aware of the news when speaking to Goal South Africa.

“I don’t know what you are talking about. Honestly, I’m not aware that he went to Monaco for an assessment,” Mbele told Goal.

“It’s the first time I’m hearing this. I’m not aware of any assessment the player went through abroad."

Foster, who is a South African Under-20 international, was promoted to the Bucs first team this season.

He has since made four appearances in the Absa Premiership for the Buccaneers.
