Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha says his side face a must-win Premier League clash against Brighton & Hove Albion in midweek.
Bottom-of-the-log Palace travel to ninth-placed Brighton on Tuesday night and need three points to have a chance of moving off the foot of the table.
“All the players know the importance of it by now. We obviously speak about it among ourselves, so everyone knows it is a big game and we need to win it,” the Ivory Coast winger told the Palace matchday programme.
Palace and Brighton also have a fierce rivalry which dates back to a series of controversial clashes in the late 1970s under managers Terry Venables and Alan Mullery.
It will be the clubs’ first top-flight meeting since 1981.
