Zambia and Orlando Pirates striker Justin Shonga believes the Soweto giants must ensure they finish at the top during this current Premier Soccer League campaign in South Africa.
The Chipolopolo hitman says they must do well this season and ensure they qualify for the CAF Champions League.
Coach Milutin Sredojevic are now sitting at number two in the Absa Premiership and will hope to challenge for the league honours.
“My priority is the team because I believe there is much more that the team can do. Recently, things have not been going well and things should not be this way,” Shonga told Soccer Laduma.
“I watched the team last season and it was not good to see them performing that way.
“This season it must be different because a team like Pirates needs to be playing in the CAF Champions League and finishing in a good position on the log standings.
“It is unacceptable for a great team like this not to win anything.”
