Genoa’s Moroccan midfielder Adel Taarabt has been linked with a move to Spain’s La Liga following his strong form this season.
The 28-year-old Atlas Lions player has been a standout figure for Genoa in Serie A, making 13 appearances (12 starts) and racking up two goals.
His efforts have mostly been in vain, with Genoa sitting just above the relegation zone after 14 rounds, but they have attracted attention from elsewhere in Europe.
Calcio Mercato reports that Taarabt is being closely monitored by Spanish giants Sevilla (amongst others), who are poised to make a move for the player at the end of the season.
The versatile attacking midfielder is currently on loan at Genoa from Portuguese side Benfica, and has also featured for Lens, Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers, Fulham, Fulham and Milan in his club career.
