Mohamed Salah's Liverpool teammate Emre Can has showered praise on the Egyptian wing-wizard who has taken the English Premier League by storm.
The 25-year-old took his goal tally to an astonishing 17 across all competitions (12 in 14 league games) with a brace in a 3-0 win over Stoke City on Wednesday evening.
Salah emerged off the bench to great effect as the Reds claimed victory away to the Potters.
The former Chelsea attacker has hit the ground running at Anfield following his move from AS Roma ahead of the 2016-17 season, and German international midfielder Can is impressed...
“You can see that everyone is a little bit scared of him [Salah] as it is unbelievable how quick he is,” Can told the Liverpool ECHO.
“He has the confidence now. He has a lot of goals and everyone knows he can always score. Against Stoke, it was the same as he came on and showed his confidence.
“He had one chance and the volley was great after an unbelievable assist from Sadio (Mane). It’s good for us and very good for him. I hope it goes on," he concluded.
