South African side Bidvest Wits are said to have shown interest in Christian Epoupa.

The Cameroonian striker is currently on the books of Dynamos, who are campaigning in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (ZPSL).

The highly-rated player has been linked with South African club Ajax Cape Town in the past.

Wits and another South African side Polokwane City are also believed to be keen to sign the attacker.

Dynamos chairman Keni Mubaiwa has been quoted as confirming talks for the forward with clubs in South Africa.

“A number of clubs from South Africa have made contact with Christian," he told News Day.

"Some were here in the past few days for negotiations and others have been talking to us on the phone.

"We have not agreed with anyone because of the price. We have put our value on the player, which the teams are saying they cannot meet," he continued.

"The good thing on our part is that we are not desperate to sell, so we will try to get the full value of what we think our player is worth.

Epoupa scored 12 goals in the ZPSL this past season.
