Egypt head coach Hector Cuper has confirmed that Real Madrid are closely monitoring the progress of Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah, with a potential move on the cards for the wing-wizard.
Salah has taken the English Premier League by storm since his switch from AS Roma to Anfield ahead of the 2016-17 season.
The 25-year-old has scored 17 goals across all competitions - chipping in with a further five assists - in 22 appearances for the Merseyside giants this season.

The former Chelsea wide man also played a pivotal role in the Pharaohs booking their return to world stage, netting the decisive goal as Egypt qualified for the 2018 World Cup to be hosted in Russia.
At this current rate, Cuper believes that it is only a moment of time before Salah joins the defending European champions.
“I’ve received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid’s interest in Salah, but let’s not rush things," Cuper told ON Sport TV.
“To me, he is in an amazing position right now.”
Egypt have been drawn in 2018 FIFA World Cup Group A, alongside hosts Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.
