Kenya will be looking to bag their second 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge win when they face Libya on Tuesday afternoon.

The Harambee Stars started their campaign on a high with a 2-0 win over the Amavubi of Rwanda on Sunday.

However, facing a desperate Libya, who are chasing for their first win, will not be an easy task for the hosts, but they will bank on home support.

Coach Paul Put's men are sitting at the top of Group A with three points and will be gunning for their second win to boost their hopes of reaching the semi-finals.

A win for them will take them closer to the knock-out stages with six points and they will also hope to shut the back door and not concede.

Looking at the Mediterranean Knights, Libya's start was disappointing as they drew 0-0 against Tanzania in the group's second match on Sunday.

Sitting at number two in the group with one point allows them to go all out against the hosts and grab a win.

However, they will have to fight harder and ensure they convert their chances as they fired blanks against the Taifa Stars in their first match.

This will be the second encounter between the two nations following the friendly match in 2004 which was won by Libya with a 2-0 score.

The highly anticipated encounter will get underway at 16:00 at the Kenyatta Stadium, in Machakos on Tuesday.
