SuperSport United defender Clayton Daniels says he expects a “tough game” against Orlando Pirates in the Absa Premiership this evening.
The teams are set to meet at Orlando Stadium, with the Buccaneers hoping to avenge 6-1 and 4-1 defeats inflicted on them by Matsatsantsa last season.
Daniels believes that Pirates have more “structure” under coach Milutin Sredojevic and expects a difficult battle in Soweto.
"Pirates have changed a little bit under the new coach and the technical staff," Daniels said, as quoted by Kick-Off.
"You can see the difference, there is a little bit of structure in the team. They have just been unfortunate not to pick up the results they wanted.
“I think they are a good team and it is going to be a real tough game for us. It is always a good game playing against Pirates."
He added, "When we played them in the past they were a bit thin defensively so we beat them quite nicely. But this time around like I said, with new technical stuff they are a bit more organised and more structured.
"They also have good attacking players that have really found their form like Thabo Qalinge and it is going to be a difficult game. They look organised and well structured and it's a dangerous team.
"We need to be very cautious on our defensive display and make sure that we capitalise on their mistakes."
