After announcing that his Nigerian teammates are ready for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after they were drawn in Group D, Odion Ighalo has revealed that he will launch an orphanage.

Following the Friday draw held in Russia, Gernot Rohr's men were drawn in Group D against Argentina, Croatia and Panama.

The Super Eagles international forward took to his official Twitter page to announce the news that he will offer his helping hand to the needy in Lagos.

According to his Tweets, the Ighalo Orphanage Home will be launched on December 16 in Lagos and the player's efforts will undoubtedly be highly appreciated by the entire Nigerian community.

Currently plying his trade in the Chinese Super League with Yatai Changchun, the former Watford striker in the English Premier League has also visited the Government House in Benin City.

“A big announcement is coming out and everyone is invited,” Tweeted the player.

Meanwhile, Ighalo also joined a number of players in condemning the acts of slavery in Libya, urging everyone to say no to slavery.
