As speculation remains rife that Senegal and Napoli SC defender Kalidou Koulibaly could join Barcelona in 2018, his sights are firmly set on beating Feyenoord on Wednesday.

The central defender is strongly linked with a move to Spanish La Liga giants to replace Javier Macherano in the coming year.

The Blaugrana are reportedly in the market for a centre-back as they prepare for life after Gerard Pique and Mascherano.

However, with his solid performances for the Italian Serie A giants, the Lions of Teranga defender will not want to consider news reports off the field.

His primary focus is on Wednesday's crucial UEFA Champions League match day six clash against Dutch side, Feyenoord.

UEFA has also announced that the match will be officiated by English referee Michael Oliver away in the Netherlands.

Although Napoli have six ppoints from five matches in Group F at number three, trailing leaders Manchester City by 11 points, their dream to reach the kncok-out stages is over.

However, Koulibaly must put up a fight for many reasons on Wednesday, not only to win, but to also convince his suitors, Barcelona.

The encounter will be staged at Stadion Feijenoord, Rotterdam at 21:45 and the lanky defender could be in the starting XI.
