Algerian left-back Faouzi Ghoulam has put speculation surrounding his future to bed by signing a new contract with Napoli.
The Serie A side confirmed on Tuesday that the Fennec Foxes player has penned a new deal which runs to 2022.
Ghoulam’s old contract was set to expire at the end of the current season, sparking speculation that he could move away from the Stadio San Paolo.
The 26-year-old is currently sidelined with a cruciate ligament injury picked up in last month's Champions League loss to Manchester City.
The Naples side confirmed the deal with the following post on their Twitter feed:
"Proud and happy to be part of this great project," Ghoulam wrote on his Twitter feed. "To represent this beautiful city and its colours. Proud to be Neapolitan. Come on Napoli forever."
