Zanzibar will be chasing their second win in Group A of the 2017 CECAFA Senior Challenge when they meet Tanzania on Thursday.
Coach Vitezslav Nmetz's men are in high spirits following their 3-1 win over the Amavubi of Rwanda in their opening encounter on Tuesday.
Coming to this clash, their target is to win this encounter and get closer to their mission of making it to the semifinals.
Furthermore, they will also want to go all the way to the finals and ensure they add their fourth trophy.
Sitting at the second spot in the group with three points behind hosts, Kenya, means they will want to win and make it two wins from as many games.
On the other hand, Tanzania are yet to taste victory in the regional showpiece and will be under pressure to grab the three points.
The Taifa Stars failed to crack in their opening match on Sunday when they drew 0-0 against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
The draw sees coach Salum Mayanga's troops occupying the fourth spot in the five-team group with one point after their stalemate, and they will also want a win on Thursday.
Heading to this encounter, Tanzania are enjoying an advantage of 12 wins, and two draws, but have lost four times to Zanzibar.
The Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos will host this encounter on Thursday at 14:00.
