Ethiopia will have their focus set on booking their place in the knockout stages of the 2017 CECAFA Cup when they take on Burundi in Kenya on Thursday afternoon.

The Walia Ibex currently sit top of Group B following a 3-0 win over South Sudan in their tournament opener. Abed Yalew bagged a brace for the Ethiopians before Abubakher Sani added his name to the score sheet for the four-time champions.
Ethiopia last won the CECAFA tournament in 2005, defeating Rwanda 1-0 in the final.
As for Burundi, the Swallows held 14 champions Uganda to a goalless stalemate in their group opener.
The result will come as a major boost as they aim to improve on their best showing at the tournament. A second place finish way back in 2004.
