Swaziland have blown Group A at the 2017 U-20 Cosafa Cup wide open by holding Uganda to a 2-2 draw at Arthur Davies Stadium on Friday afternoon.
The Swazis drew first blood midway through the first half when Muzi Tsabedze opened the scoring, but the young Cranes hit back through Muhammad Shaban to see the game locked at 1-1 at half time.
The East African guests claimed the lead seven minutes into the second stanza when Allen Okello finished off a swift counter attack.
But if Uganda thought they were on course for a second successive win, they were sadly mistaken, as they conceded a late equaliser to Ordee Mamba.
The young Cranes also finished the game with just 10 men following the dismissal of Shaban for a second yellow card.
The result left Uganda at the top of Group A on four points, while Swaziland are third on one point.
The group standings will take clearer shape when the final game of the day is played between hosts Zambia and Malawi, with kick-off at 17h30 CAT.
