South African club Cape Town City are interested in attacking midfielder Mandla Masango.
The South African international is currently on the books of Danish Superliga side Randers FC.
Randers are open to selling the former Kaizer Chiefs winger during the January Transfer Window.
City chairman John Comitis has disclosed that Masango, 28, can only join his club if the player lowers his demands.
“With Masango I had on principle agreed with his club on the terms to get him here," Comitis said on IOL.
"He could have been playing with us as of January, but at this stage we can’t match his demands.
"So he won’t be with the club in January unless he changes his views."
Masango spent the second round of the 2016/17 season on a short-term loan deal at South African side SuperSport United.
