Malawi will square off with Uganda in the 2017 Under-20 COSAFA Cup Group A match at the Arthur Davies Stadium on Monday.

Kick-off is at 12h00 CAT.

The Young Flames held the tournament hosts Zambia to a goalless draw in their previous group game which was played on Friday.

Malawi are placed second on the Group A standings with four points from two games. They are only behind log leaders Uganda on goal-difference.

A draw or win will be enough to book Malawi a place in the knockout stages of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Uganda were held to a 2-2 draw by Swaziland in their previous group match which was played on Friday.

The Young Cranes, who were invited to this year's tournament, are sitting at the top of the Group A standings with four points from two games.

Uganda will advance to the knockout stages if they record a win or draw against Malawi.
