Algerian striker Islam Slimani is growing increasingly frustrated with a lack of playing time and is desperate to leave Leicester City in next month’s transfer window.
The Mirror reports that the Fennec Foxes player is looking for a way out of the King Power Stadium in January.
The 29-year-old has started just one Premier League match this season, with eight substitute appearances.
This past weekend he didn’t even make the bench - for the second match in a row - as Leicester defeated Newcastle United 3-2.
The player is not lacking for form or goals, having scored four times in Leicester’s League Cup wins over Sheffield United, Liverpool and Leeds United.
One possible avenue out for Slimani is to link back up with coach Marco Silva at Watford: the pair worked together at Sporting Lisbon.
