Both Namibia and Zimbabwe were knocked out of on-going 2017 U20 Cosafa Cup following a 0-0 draw at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe on Tuesday afternoon.

Lesotho advance into the knockout stages of the Southern African competition after topping Group C with Egypt, South Africa and Uganda to join Likuena in the final four.

Six-time champions, Zimbabwe, had to win to secure their place in the next round, but could only register a stalemate against their fellow 'Warriors' as Lesotho booked their place in the semifinals of the competition.

Zimbabwe edged the first stanza of proceedings in Kitwe, but Namibia fought back following the break and went close in the 80th minute only to be denied by the Young Warriors goal-minder.

The Brave Warriors were dangerous on the counter-attack in raining conditions, but ultimately neither side were able to trouble the scorers as the game ended goalless.

Disappointing for both sets of fans as Lesotho sealed their place in the next round. They will take on East African guest nation Uganda for a place in the final on Thursday.
