Cameroon star Vincent Aboubakar is set to be in a tug of war between two Premier League teams when the transfer window opens next month.
The 25-year-old’s superb form for Porto - he has netted 17 goals across all competitions this season, including a hat-trick last weekend - has attracted attention from the money-flush English top flight.
Swansea City have been strongly linked with a move for the Indomitable Lions skipper, and Aboubakar himself admitted in July this year that he was open to a transfer to the Welsh club.
However, the Swans aren’t the only interested party: Everton are also keen on the hit-man, having failed to adequately replaced Romelu Lukaku. Manager Sam Allardyce is reportedly a fan of Aboubakar’s physical style.
Regardless, the Cameroonian will cost a pretty penny, having signed a new deal recently which tied him to Porto until 2021 and includes a £45 million release clause.
