Angola have named Srdjan Vasiljevic as their new coach and has started preparations for the upcoming 2018 CAF African Nations Championships.
The Palancas Negras are hoping to impress during the tournament set for locally-based players in Morocco in January next year.
Vasiljevic has already named a 29-man provisional squad for the tournament and has included goalkeeper Rui Jorge, who wants to impress the new manager.
Media reports suggest that the 44-year-old Serbian mentor has signed a two-year contract on Tuesday and replaces the Brazilian Beto Bianchi, who resigned in November.
"Determination and a winning mentality will be the main factors for success at CHAN," Jorge said.
