Following his 2017 BBC African Footballer of the Year Award, Mohamed Salah has been included in FourFourTwo’s Best 100 Players in 2017.
The Egyptian international continues to make headlines for Liverpool in the English Premier League with his fine touch in front of goal.
The Reds winger has moved up 63 spots since last year and is rated by FourFourTwo following his exceptional displays for both club and country.
His exploits have earned him the 32nd place in the list above the likes of Christian Eriksen, Andres Iniesta, Arjen Robben and Alexis Sanchez.
Salah started the season on a high at Liverpool, where he has already scored 19 goals and assisted six times in 24 games this term.
For the Pharaohs, the 25-year-old guided Egypt to their first African nations Cup final since 2010 and has led them to their first World Cup since 1990 – he netted a brace against Congo in the penultimate group qualifier.
Apart from the BBC gong, he has bagged the Liverpool Player of the Month three times as well as being nominated for the Arab Player of the Year for 2017 and for the CAF African Player of the Year.
