Saturday was a good day for African footballers plying their trade in the English Premier League - especially the Crystal Palace contingent.

Wilfried Zaha, Bakary Sako and Democratic Republic of Congo-born Christian Benteke all found the back of the net as the Eagles hammered Riyad Mahrez's Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.

Elias Kachunga then opened the scoring for Huddersfield Town in a 4-1 win over Watford. The forward with his first goal of the season.

West Ham United were equally rampant in a 3-0 hammering of Stoke City. Senegal's Diafra Sakho with the third and final goal of the game.

The likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah will be hoping to cap off a successful weekend for Africans in England's top-flight. West Brom play host to Manchester United before Liverpool take on Bournemouth.
