Egypt international Ahmed Hegazi is set to join West Brom on a permanent deal following an excellent start to the season for the towering defender, in a team that has struggled for results.
The 26-year-old was the club's outstanding performer in a goalless draw away to a rampant Liverpool earlier this week - spearheaded by Pharaohs teammate Mohamed Salah.
Hegazi has started all 17 of the Baggies English Premier League games this season, heading into their clash against Manchester United at the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.

The centre-back joined West Brom on-loan from Al Ahly in August and having impressed in his first few months in England - the club are set to activate the £4.5 million transfer clause in the deal that brought him to the West Midlands.
"We're pretty much down the road on that one," Pardew said when asked about Hegazi." I can't confirm anything but if we can then we'll do that. He's been brilliant for me.
"He has fantastic attributes as a centre-half and I think he's learning. I'm not sure there's many teams that would have got a clean sheet at Liverpool particularly with the strike force they put out."
