Former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom is set to sign for Sudanese giants Al Merrikh today (Monday).
Ghanasoccernet reports that the 28-year-old defender has reached an agreement with the ‘Red Castle’ after arriving in Sudan earlier this month.
Earlier this year, Inkoom was handed a one-year ban by FIFA because of a debt owed to football agent Andy Evans.
It is reported that the former Black Stars man has resolved this issue and will be able to play for Al Merrikh from 2018.
Inkoom was a member of Ghana’s U-20 World Cup-winning team in 2009 and was also part of the Black Stars squads at the last two World Cups in 2010 and 2014.
At club level, he has represented the likes of Asante Kotoko, Basel, Ndipro, Bastia, Platanias, DC United, Boavista, Antalyaspor and Vereya.
