“Following the completion of the 2017 season, the Premier Soccer League and Supersport International Ltd have mutually agreed to end the partnership entered into by both parties in 2012,” he said.
“The partnership has positively transformed local football through financial injection that has helped develop the game of football and benefit local clubs to invest in talent and meet some of their day to day match expenses.”
With the exit, SuperSport now remains with just Zambian Super League under their belt outside South Africa from an initial list of five that had Kenya, Ghana and Nigeria.
PSL has announced that they will be shopping for a new media right and Kwese Sports are said to be in the running for the deal.
