The Football Association of Zambia’s new technical director, Moses Sichone, has expressed satisfaction in their preparations for the 2018 CAF African Nations Championship.

Chipolopolo will participate at the tournament for locally-based players in Morocco next month and Sichone has urged the players to work on tactics.

Known as ‘Big Mo’, the new TD has been a consistent fixture at Heroes Stadium, where a locally assembled squad has set base.

“From the three training sessions I have watched, the boys have given a good impression in terms of preparation for the coming [CHAN tournament] but there are a few things that need to be done,” Sichone said to Zambian Football.

“The boys are motivated. This is one part in football where the boys have to know where we’re going and I’m sure all the Zambians are expecting the team to bring back the cup.

“There are a few things like physically and mentally as the league in Zambia just finished and they’re in good shape.

“It’s just a few things that the coaching staff has to look into to sharpen the team. Like the approach to training matters a lot, tactics; individual tactics, good tactics and team tactics matter depending on the system one is using.” CLICK HERE TO VISIT AFRICAN FOOTBALL ZAMBIA
