As they bolster their squad for the second half of the 2017/18 South African Premier Soccer League, Orlando Pirates have signed two defenders from Chippa United.
Diamond Thopola and Phetso Mananga have completed their switch to the Soweto giants, whilst midfielder Thabo Rakhale moves in the opposite direction.
The club has announced the deals, saying both players will join with immediate effect and thanked the dribbling wizard, also known as 'Jomo', for his contribution.
"Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the signings of defenders Diamond Thopola and Phetso Maphanga from Chippa United," said Pirates.
"Both players join the club with immediate effect and will be introduced to the coaching staff when training resumes on December 27.
"The club can also confirm that winger Thabo Rakhale moves across to the Chilli Boys as part of the deal.
"The club would like to thank Rakhale for his contribution at the club and wish him all of the best in his future endeavours."
