British tactician Stuart Baxter will reportedly meet with the South African Football’s Associations (SAFA) technical committee to discuss Bafana Bafana’s programme for 2018.

This is after Bafana head coach Baxter failed to guide the team to the FIFA 2018 World Cup finals which will be hosted by Russia.

According to Soccer Laduma, SAFA have tasked Baxter to formulate a plan of action regarding the national team’s activity which is expected to be presented to SAFA in the first week of January.

“Baxter and SAFA’s technical committee where supposed to convene later this year, however the meeting did not take place and now has been scheduled for the first week of January," a source told the publication.

“The coach will be expected to present a plan which will outline all of Bafana’s games and proposed opponents. It’s going to be very tricky as some of the best countries will be playing in the World Cup next year and using the rest of the year to rest,” added the source.

It was previously reported in the media that SAFA were considering to use Bafana as training opponents for top countries who had qualified for the World Cup including the likes Brazil, England and Spain.

However, the FA has not confirmed this with the official statement set to be released next year once Baxter has presented his plan to the commitee.
