Ahead of his much-anticipated move to the English Premier League side Liverpool, Naby Keita is tipped to make it big.
According to Senegal and Reds forward Sadio Mane, the Guinean’s arrival will give Jurgen Klopp’s men a massive boost.
The ex-RB Salzburg player revealed that he always lived together with the RB Leipzig midfielder in Austria.
Keita and Mane played together briefly at Salzburg, but the Liverpool winger has fond memories of their time and believes the midfielder will dazzle in a Reds shirt
Keita will arrive at Anfield in 2018 after Liverpool reached an agreement with Leipzig to sign the midfielder for £48million a year in advance.
“We are lucky to have him because he's an unbelievable player. You will see, no comment! You will see,” said Mane to LFC TV.
“We lived together in the same area of Salzburg.
“We were always together – sometimes he came to my house, I went to his house.
“We even didn’t speak German but we had someone who took care of us. But I was better than him because I was there one year before him!.
“We were so close. He’s a friend for me – even not a friend, he’s like a brother. Because we keep in touch all the time, talking.
“He asks me 'how is the club?' and I tell him 'unbelievable'.
“We are lucky to have him because he's an unbelievable player. You will see, no comment! You will see."
On the other hand, Klopp has since rubbished speculation that the 22-year-old could arrive during the January transfer window.
