Nigeria striker Isaac Success is reportedly in contention to make his first Premier League appearance of the season when Watford face Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow afternoon.

According to Allnigeriasoccer.com, the 21-year-old Super Eagles attacker had been suffering from illness but has given the green light by Hornets medics and is available for the match at the American Express Community Stadium.

Success has not featured for Watford for four months, with his last appearance a 45-minute role in their 3-2 loss to Bristol City in the League Cup on August 22.

He was left out of last weekend’s matchday squad for the clash with Huddersfield Town, sparking speculation that the player had suffered a relapse of the knee injury which has kept him sidelined.

Success will either need to earn more playing time with Watford or move out on loan as he looks to work his way into contention for Nigeria’s 2018 World Cup squad.
